Hi Robert,
by default the iSeries connection option should have been there, but
you should be able to add it to the list by doing the following:

Click on Window --> Preferences. Click on the Remote Systems item on the
list and you should see a list of the possible Remote Systems to which you
can connect . iSeries should be on the list and check that the "Enabled "
value is set to "true".
Click OK to accept your changes, refresh the Remote Systems View in the RSE
Perspective and the iSeries option should appear on the list under New
Connection.

Last night I installed Wdsc 7.0 on my home PC.

When I tried to create a connection to the iSeries (by expanding New
Connection) there was no iSeries icon. (Only Windows, Linux, Unix, Local).

Is there a setting I'm missing?
