WDSC/RDi is still a huge disappointment in this regard. CODE/400 still outperforms it when it comes to retrieving lists. I guess part of it is that once the data is received it has to be wrapped in XML for storage. Or is the XML built on the host? In which case it may well be Java performance on the host that is the issue.I have to challenge everyone here that if this is indeed a "huge disappointment" or even in Dave's case a show stopper, that you HAVE to report it. I've heard lots of people complain about this over the years (myself included) but I don't remember one person saying they reported this to IBM via PMR or DCR. I didn't because I learned to work around it. Just the same way I try really hard not to filter a member list with hundreds of members in PDM, because it's dog slow.
