How would you handle telling the caller the number of records returned?
How does the caller know how large to make the receiving variable?
Would you create a structure and give it a maximum size?
I guess I can live with the limitation of max string length. We could
set the max record returned in a SQL. It give us the max size of the
structure.
By the nature of application type, for example
1/ browsing people name in a state we could set the block of transfer
for 50 records.
2/ purchasing order and product structure, they always have the max
lines.
