I may be wrong, but I believe the job is effectively submitted with
INLLIBL(*CURRENT). i.e., The compile will inherit the job list from the
current library list active for your connection. What we do is set up a
different connection for each environment (primarily meaning library
list). Then we set the library list on the 'iSeries Commands' tab of the
'Subsystems' page of the connection properties. Then our library list is
set correctly for our development work (refreshing the outline, etc.) and
the compile inherits that library list.

FWIW: The INLLIBL default on SBMJOB is *CURRENT.

subject: [WDSCI-L] Submitting compiles with different JOBDs...

I'm sure this has been covered previously in the list but I could not
find
reference to it.

I want to be able to specify a JOBD when I compile. Basically I have
different projects requiring different library lists.

Is the best way to create one connection per project?

Then in Connection->Properties->Properties for Batch Compiles I can
specify
the JOBD to be used for the connection/project.
