Actually I am moving the code but I only want to execute the ELSE code.
Once I identify the ELSE code it will be moved. I was just interested if
there was an easier way to identify the ELSE code...

In the situation I'm looking at the IF condition will never be met so I
want
to remove the IF code but not the ELSE code.
Does anyone know of a better way?

Well, 100 lines of code is a lot to put in an if condition ... I would
suggest moving the code to a procedure.

As for handling the if condition never being met ... how about 'if (not
condition) '?
