The client in question is not using a VPN.
They normally connect via SSL Telnet.
I wanted to use WDSc for my development, but can not establish a connection.

I don't think so. You can use SSL on systems that connect using http, but the iSeries and WDSC seem to communicate using a different (proprietary?) protocol.

How about VPN?

Is there any way to configure the Remote Systems connection to connect to a remote system using SSL?
