Well that's a nice titbit if I can make it work.

After running my compile command under WDSc I get this in the commande
history view :

SBMJOB CMD(CALL PGM(MyCompiler) PARM(MyProgram)/* EVENTF SRCMBR(MySource)
*/) JOB(MyJob)

I now have a file MyLib/EVFEVENT. with a member MySource full of messages.

How do I get these messages into WDSc ?

TIA.

You should still be able to get the error message back to WDSCi.
The key is to make sure your custom command has a parameter named OPTION
that takes *EVENTF as a
value.
Then when your program runs CRTRPGMOD, CRTBNDRPG, ect. make sure it
specifies OPTION(*EVENTF).

Also make sure you reference the OPTION and SRCMBR parameters when you
invoke your program.

You can add the parms as a comment appended to the program you invoke
... "/* OPTION(*EVENTF) SRCMBR(&N) */"
