Eric,
That did seem to be the key to making the workspace respond now.

I guess I'll make a short cut for normal operation and one for
the "-clean" option.

Thanks, Matt

You might try the -clean parm on the WDSCi shortcut....

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Updated to 7.0.0.4 and now workspace is hosed

I updated WDSC 7.x to 7.0.04 and now I cannot use any thing in my
current perspective. Every time I click on a server connection the
product stops responding. I can hard stop the product and restart it
with the workspace in question and do some other things like open views,
change preferences, open other perspectives (although with errors on
some). It seems no matter what I do as long as it has something to do
with a server entry in a view or dialog the product hangs.

Anyone have any solution that allows me to keep my current
configurations? I have considerable time involved in setting up the
workspace how I like it and I know that some of the elements cannot just
be moved over to a new workspace.

Okay, I cannot even save preferences now. Oh, where is the preference
export/import option now?

I have created a new workspace that is working (so far), so it's
something in the old workspace configuration.

Thanks, Matt
