In V7, when I open "iSeries Objects" in my connection, I have an element named "Library List". Opening that shows links to all libraries specified on my current libl... Right clicking on any of this gives me add/remove/move options....
As others have mentioned, perhaps you need to make sure that you are starting the RSE communications daemon....
Window > Preferences
Then drill down to Remote Systems > Communications
This checkbox should be checked.
As for GO xxxxxxx, I'm not sure why you would need to do this in development... If it's just to get to a command, you could just figure out the command you're trying to access, and add it to RSE in the iSeries Commands subsystem. You certainly don't need to get to the command via a menu once you know the command name....
The WRKxxxxx commands.... Depending on the specific command, there are built-in operations in WDSCi 7.0 that provide similar functionality. The iSeries Jobs subsystem in RSE is equivalent to WRKACTJOB, where as Library, Object, or Member filters in RSE give you WRKLIB, WRKOBJ, or WRKMBR capabilities.

Eric

Sorry Dennis,
I guess I don't run the same commands you do, as I've only once (ever)
tried the STRRSESVR interface. Everything I > need to see I manage to do
without an interactive pipe. Can you tell me what commands specifically
you are running? > Perhaps the difference is in some additional plugins
that I am running....
Eric
Usually EDTLIBL, GO SOMETHING, or WRKXXXXX. It seems I'll need an
emulator to run those types of commands interactively, so I'm left to
alt-tab or use the Arcad emulator I just recently found out about. But on
the bright side I like that Arcad emulator. =)
