Did you use IBM Packaging Utility*** to create a local repository?

I think what may be confusing is that the fixpack itself is in the repository format, thus it is a
repository.

However, when you talk about "local repository", you are talking about using Packaging Utility to
first define an empty repository ( aka the "local repository" ) then using Packaging Utility to copy
the original install to the local repository, finally using Packaging Utility to copy the fixpack
downloaded from IBM into the local repository.

Instead of looking at IBM's repository, all your WDSCi installs will want to look at the local
repository you set up for their updates. Also, if you were to do a new install from the local
repository, you'd end up with 7.0.0.2 in one shot.

Charles

Perhaps....

If you're downloading the zip in order to apply the updates to
multiple machines, then you really ought to have a local
repository set up.

Well, I DID set up a local repository. While not
particularly clear, it seems to indicate that if you have 7.0
or 7.0.0.1, you can update to 7.0.0.2 using this fixpack. It
then goes on to tell you how to download the fixpack, expand
it and point to it as a repository, which I did:

Given those instructions, which part do you think I missed?
