No not just when a file is changed but frequent enough to be annoying.
How about a concrete example? You only just started using version 7, so I
assume you had this issue in the last couple of days, otherwise you're
talking about an old release.
Like locking up and dying is a good example.
When is the last time 7.0.0.2 locked up on you? If it locked up in the last
couple of days, did you report it to the team? Did you send them a log? If
you're talking about version 6, then I don't really consider that relevant.
Like ignoring known bugs
that we were told were fixed in a future release.
What bug is ignored? The SQL IF problem? They said they couldn't reproduce
it, so obviously there is a data issue that's causing your system (and
others) to fail where IBM can't duplicate it. Have you worked with the
support line to try and reproduce the problem?
You just started working with V7, Bill. Unless these issues you've posted
have happened recently, they're really old news. If they HAVE happened, I
hope you've sent all the appropriate information in to IBM to get them to
fix it.
Really, I appreciate constructive criticism. But if your problems are
either from an old release (V7 is more than six months old) or you haven't
reported them, then they're not all that relevant.
