Trevof, I've done just that;

the last instruction was :
6. Suivez les instructions de l'assistant : spécifiez le Serveur iSeries, la
taille de l’écran, le code page ; vous pourrez par la suite modifier
les autres valeurs par défaut


Specify the server name, screen size, code page. I just entered the name of
the server and that was it. Isn't there something to do to open the
emulator?

Follow the instructions.......



You would have received an email telling you how to download, install and
use the emulator. Look for the section in that email titled: FIRST USE -

and

follow the steps on how to use the emulator for the first time.
