Hi,

The company I work for uses a MS ISA server to control web access. It
does not permit the server to be specified as "localhost" in the URL.
For example, to use WDSCi local help, I had to substitute my PC name for
localhost in Preferences-->Help-->Help Server.

Today I ran into a similar problem with Web Services Explorer. While
trying to work with a web service WSDL, the help text described various
ways to open the web services explorer, but none of them worked for me.
By copying the URL from the tool tip shown when hovering over the tab
announcing the failure, substituting my PC name for localhost, then
typing it into a web browser URL field I was able to open the explorer.

Is there a preference or some other method so to substitute my PC name
for localhost when opening web services explorer like there is for help?
I couldn't find anything in the Web Services or Web Tools preferences,
but perhaps I just didn't know how to look.

Thanks in advance for any help,

Roger Mackie
