Thanks for confirmation on the port numbers. I think my problem is probably
on the iSeries, as the web page is being display ok once i start the WAS.

the WAS test environment that comes with WDSC. If you want to do
webfacing
testing, same thing applies. You only need WAS installed on the iseries
when you are going to actually run the apps from the iSeries.
