Joe,

I've got WDSC (Standard Edition) with all the latest updates. So Help,
About tells me that 'Remote Systems Explorer' is version 7.1.4--I'm not
sure what else to check there.

In the directory where I'm installing from there's an XML file, input.xml.
It has an entry reading:
<offering id="com.ibm.rational.business.developer"
version="7.0.0.20070330_1922"/>

Thanks,
Michael Quigley

From: MichaelQuigley@xxxxxxxxxx

I finally got my copy of RBDE and had time to try installing it. I'm
receiving an error from Installation Manager that RBDE is not compatible
with other packages.

1) Does anyone know what I should set up to be able to install RBDE and
use it with WDSC (if this is even available)?

2 ) If this can be done, is it wise to do or would I be better off
setting
up a separate Eclipse install for RBDE?

I just installed RBDe 7 last night with WDSC 7, Michael. I installed it
then did the upgrade (took eight or nine hours, but ran successfully).

What combination of software are you trying to install?

Joe
