Jon:

It is a known issue. I have been told it will be fixed in the next
"release" (not service pack).

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Clearing Cache

This weekend to deal with some speed issues, as per the advice from IBM I
cleared my cache ...
Ever since I am being deluged with "information not available from cache"
messages and its driving me nuts. I know its not there I cleared it!
I've been forced to select "work offline" for several of my servers and
that
has slightly reduced the number of messages - but they are still
appearing.
When I check the detail for the message there is zero info there as to
what it
thinks it is looking for or indeed which server!
For example when trying to create a new source member on a server that
_is_
connected, I get two "not available from cache" messages - each of which
simply tells me to switch to a connected server (I am already connected to
the
server I am using) - once I press OK on each of the messages, it goes
ahead
and creates the member correctly and opens it in the editor.
Am I missing something or is this a bug? I haven't installed the very
latest
fix, but am up-to-date apart from that.
