WDSC on Linux? I don't think so. Windows is the only supported OS (BIG sigh...)

Thanks for the response Pete...I was just going to attempt to install WDSC over an existing eclipse on my Fedora 7 OS...

Can any of the IBMers tell me if this is going to be in the works?...

Tried but no joy. There are some things in 7 that require IBM's JVM in order to work and the installer checks for it as far as I could tell. I wanted to install 7 into MyEclipse so I could get back to one Eclipse instance but try as I might, I could never get WDSC 7 to install into an existing Eclipse install.

My attempts were about 3-4 months ago (a lifetime for this old head) and I think at the last Common the WDSC folks recommended I try to install WDSC and then MyEclipse (or something like that) to make it work. However, the time it takes to backup the workspace and recover a hosed WDSC/MyEclipse installation became too expensive after a couple of attempts.
