SEP debugging & monitoring variables > 1024 bytes

After reviewing the archives and past discussions, I am again stumped as
to how to view the contents of a monitored variable that is greater than
1024 bytes. In my previous post regarding this problem, IIRC I was at
V6.0.0.1 and am now at V7xxxx (latest release). Did something change? When
I click on the field being monitored it only shows 1024 bytes and
regardless of what I try to do I cannot see beyond that. I know my source
data is 1392 bytes long but I really need to see what is at the end of the
string as this is a socket server program and I need to be able to scan
for the true end of the data. I've searched the help too but to no
avail....
