Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] WDSC 6, Subclipse and iSeries projects
Version control like Subversion is a powerful tool thatsupports you in organizing and saving software development projects.
I am going to try to use svn to _try_ some XP-like stuff,
especially 'release often' and 'continuous integration.' I
don't have a System i source management package here, so svn
seems to fit the bill.
I asked on the RPG list, but I don't think anyone is doing
XP/Scrum with RPG, so this is going to be quite the
experiment. I plan on using an iSeries project to
iteratively make changes and be able to go back and forth
between them at will, in order to explore multiple, different
code changes quickly.
