Here are a couple of things I've come up with that would be "nice tosessions,
haves" - I've been saving them up :)
1. Let 'Search iSeries' work in the background
2. Ability to save remote scratchpad contents between workbench
and possibly save contents to a fileI
- The main benefit of iSeries projects for me is to keep track of
which source I've changed in a particularly large project. (I know ...
should use an SCM) There is some unnecessary overhead involved if usingwith
iSeries projects just for this use
3. Source file and library columns in the iSeries Table View for Work
Members.this
- Use case: I have a development library, production library and
history library. I want to manually copy a member from production to
history, then copy the development - see the aside in 2 :)
4. 'Go to end of word' action in RSE LPEX. This would be particularly
handy when recording keystrokes. One example would be changing an bunch
of D-specs from one line to two lines by adding a D-spec continuation
'...' at the end of each variable name.
5. Templates for specs other than free form calcs. My specific case is
to have a /copy template that automatically types the '/copy QCOPYSRC,'
for me. Yeah, I'm that lazy ;)
I'd submit DCRs, but I'm not the "primary contact".
