Hi Justin,
WDSC V7 sets the Java Compiler to 5.0 by default and presumably your
Java source was developed on a much earlier version, so you need to change
the Java Compiler compliance setting to one that does not cause all the
errors.
If you are working in a Java project, RMC on the project name, select
Properties and there should be a Java Compiler option. Select it and change
the Compliance level to an earlier level.
You can also change this via the Workbench Preferences as well.

I have just a couple of Java apps for which I am responsible, and I do
not have to do much with them. This morning I am trying to edit a Java
source file for the first time with WDSc 7. It flags virtually every
line with an error, mostly errors like "String cannot be resolved to a
type" and "Thread cannot be resolved".
What do I need to do to resolve this?
