Don't have the products on a shared drive, so just used the CD.
1. The CD auto loaded and installed
2. I took the defaults
3. I started Code
4. I entered the command on the command line
5. Here's where the trouble starts... I don't see the CODE "daemon" in
the system tray... But I remember it being there before.
6. I don't have "TurnOver"...
I can load CODE and Designer from All Programs, but that doesn't link it
to the source in WDSCi...

The following are my notes for installing Code Designer. You may just

The CODE/400 products need to be installed from the shared network
drive.
The CODE daemon needs to be updated and then some changes to the
TurnOver perspective.
1. Double-click on x:\yourdirectory\CODE and VisualAge RPG
6.0\setup.exe.
2. Take the defaults during setup.
3. Start CODE/400. Start>All Programs>IBM Code and VisualAge RPG
6.0>CODE>CODE
Editor.
4. On the command line at the bottom of the screen enter EXTRAS ON
and
press Enter.
5. You should notice a CODE daemon in the system tray. Right-click it
and
select Properties. Under Server Settings, enter user ID, password and
'youriseries' for IP address and click OK.
6. Close CODE Editor.
7. In WDSc, select Window>Preferences...>TurnOver>Developer>Code400.
Enter the users default library (ex. MYLIB) and 'youriseries' for CODE
server name. Click Apply and OK.
8. Verify that a DSPF opens in CODE Designer through the TurnOver
perspective.

attempted to access Code Designer. However, Code Designer is not
coming up. It just stays in WDSCi. I am right-clicking the .DSPF name,
and selecting Code Designer. A little mental activity happens, and
then nothing.
