I finally got V7 installed, but could not install the updates. I did
notice that the SQL Freeform conversion bug is still in the system even
though IBM told me they could not duplicate the problem in a future
release. It must be release 8 or 9 they are talking about. No matter
since I finally uninstalled it and have gone back to V6. I will wait
until I have a larger PC (DASD) before I try again.
Another thing I noticed was that when I did load V7 and got a workbench
established I couldn't find the "docking" option. In V6 I could choose
where I wanted my fast view to dock. It either is no longer an option
or the way to choose it was changed. The environment is complex enough
without simple things changing between releases.
