Not surprising at all really.

If you're only on 6.0.0.1 you are missing a few fixpacks including the ones
that added support for the
new v5r4 syntax like xml-into.

Either install the latest fixes into v6 or upgrade to v7 if you intend to use
WDSCi with v5r4.

Ok, here's some things that are interesting on this problem.
When I run the verify with prompt and select refresh cache it
flags every file and every copy member as not found and
problem communicating with the host.
This generates errors for field not defined for fields that
come from the files and copy members.

Now, I run the verify without check on the refresh cashe and
it run, run, run, taking much longer, about 3 minutes, and
comes up with only 2 errors and both on the line with xml-into.

It compiles on the host without errors using WDSC compile option.

Go figure!

I experience very long verify and outline refresh times when
the cache is full. My maximum is set at 50MB. You mentioned
you cleared the cache, but did you clear the correct one? Or
is there more than one cache? I see two preferences pages
that contain settings for "cache"...

Preferences+Remote Sysetms+File Cache
Preferences+Remote Sysetms+iSeries+Cache

Both pages have a clear button. Kinda confusing, no?

I used the "Clear Cache" button on the "Preferences+Remote
Sysetms+iSeries+Cache" page recently to restore sub-second outline
refreshes.
