I think IBM is trying to help you. I'm sure they are working towards
support of Vista. However, check the following URL:

The left-hand column lists the supported operating systems and Vista is
not there--not yet.

Thanks Chenghui but your directory path reference was to a XP machine. I
am
running a Vista Ultimate machine. When I launched the Installation Manager
from the .exe on the Disk 1 it appeared to work until it got to where it
actually began the install and then I got the error message that it could
not find the Installation Manager. Someone is not telling you the whole
truth. I have one simple question: Is V7 supported on Vista - yes or no? I
don't want to waste any more time on non-supported software from either
side
of the river.
