Hi Aaron,

Can you zip up the workspace and send it to me so I can debug it. I can
give you an ftp location if it's too large to email.

Since the problem appears to be in the Team profile, you should be able to
import your old personal profile into the new workspace. I posted
instructions awhile ago on how to do this:

Re: [WDSCI-L] Error starting WDSC

I used the -data command parm to get another workspace up and running
successfully (Thanks Don!).

Bob, I compared a working workspace file to the crashing one and the only
difference was the release attribute in that XML string.

Working workspace: release="630"
Not-working workspace: release="711"

Don't know what release that is relating to.

Anyways, I am up and running with WDSC 7.x again and will start the
process
of re-building my new workspace :-(

BTW, in 7.x is there a way to simply, and safely, copy connection and
editor
settings from one workspace to another?

How about this:

xmlns:filters="http:///filters.ecore";

Doesn't look right to me.

Yep, here is that file's contents:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <filters:SystemFilterPool
xmi:version="2.0"
xmlns:xmi="http://www.omg.org/XMI"; xmlns:filters="http:///filters.ecore";
name="Team Filter Pool" deletable="true" default="true"
stringsCaseSensitive="false" release="630"/>

It opened in both IE and Texpad. Anything in there help with our issue?

Thanks Don,

Hi Aaron,

I noticed the following in the error message:

Root exception:
org.eclipse.core.internal.dtree.ObjectNotFoundException: Tree element
/RemoteSystemsConnections/Team/Filters/ibm.jobs400/FilterPool_Team
Filter Pool/filterPool_Team Filter Pool.xmi not found.

Can you check if you have such a file in your workspace (and can open
it in a browser or notepad) using Windows Explorer.
