Re: Deadly Error - Again

It's probably a good thing they didn't release it in its current state (technology preview) to us standard users, since then we'd be beta testing the product for IBM, and itching & moaning about the bugs and that we'd become IBM's beta testers (and mumbling under our breath that IBM/Rational is taking the M$ approach to product development).

Respectfully, the difference is that Microsoft released Vista as 'complete' whereas IBM have been very clearly calling the new Screen Designer a technology preview.

Sadly, I think that anyone who uses PC software has become accustomed to x.0 releases being somewhat buggy, and only x.1 or x.2 being decent. This seems to go for open source as well as commercial stuff.
