I did it in a different order which might complicate your life.
I installed 7, created a new directory c:/wdsc7, copied my existing
workspace (all of it) from c:/wdsc into c:/wdsc7 and told WDSCi v7 to
look at c:/wdsc7.
Is it possible for you to copy only
.metadata
RemoteSystemsConnections
RemoteSystemsTempFiles
from your old to a new directory?
Back up the new directory first!
