Upon further review, the tokenizing seems to be from a previous free-form
exec-sql statement. If I insert a /FREE immediately before the IF, then
the IF, ELSE and ENDIF are all tokenized (red) and not blue. Sounds like
a problem to me. Thanks.

[WDSCI-L] Tokenizing in free form issue

What might cause the ENDIF in the following code to not be tokenized
(blue)? The IF and ELSE are both tokenized but not the endif. Using
WDSCi 7. TIA

// Build office number
if %subst(office:1:1) = 'O';
offno = 'R' + '0' + %editc(cuoffno:'X');
else;
offno = 'W' + '0' + %editc(cuoffno:'X');
endif;
