Unfortunatly, although the keyword support for Push Button and Choice
fields is present in the Code Designer, the screen display does *not*
show the end result. You must use SDA (gasp) for that.

I found that the secret to using code on the screen design is to use the

right click on the mouse. Get familiar with those menus and you will
create screens much more quickly. I never really use the buttons
either.

. . .
. . .
. . .
Does CODE support window and window subfile creation?
I couldn't find a create button for any of the above.

Bill,

Use the standard create subfile button. Then bring up the subfile
properties (I just press F4 to do this) and select the 'In a window'
checkbox.

If you're looking for the create subfile button, it's in the tools
pallette to the left of the design window right below the big arrow for
the selection tool.

I don't use push-buttons so I can't help you there.

I appreciate the info. I spent about 4 hours yesterday modifying 10
different formats in a member. I added 2 formats and saved every 5
minutes. When I opened CODE this morning the modified screens were like
I left them but the 2 new formats were gone. Basically I lost 4 hours
of work. Needless to say I am a little hesitant to jump in completely.

I did like the drag and drop and other windows type things.
