For CL compiles, I do see the SBMJOB command in the command log, but for RPG
compiles, I do not see it.
Is there a separate setting for RPG vs CL or others?

Hey Jeff,

When you do a compile, do you see the SBMJOB command being run in the
iSeries Commands Log view?
The only thing I can think of here is that the job is being run quickly and
that your are suspended due to the downloading of the events file (which
populates the Error List view)

I have all my preferences set to compile in batch, but when I select
the compile option from the Remote Systems view for an RPGLE
program, it still runs as if interactive in that until the compile
completes, I can not do anything else.
Is there a setting I am missing, or is this the only way it works?
