Why bother? I mean if this is going to be "unbundled" and become a
costed item, why should I rush out and get it while it's free when I
will just have to pay for it down the line. If I'm going to have to
spend time learning this product I would like to a have better idea of
the future of the product.

I heard the samething in the "EGL - Enterprise Generation Language"
class that Linda Cole from IBM did on Thursday at Common. Just have to
get your Business Partner to put in the request for you.

Look up EGL and WDSC site:ibm.com in google - there are several items at
developerworks, and one says that WDSC 6 licensees will be entitled to
EGL 7 when available.
In a lab at COMMON, I believe I heard Claus Weiss say that we can get
EGL7 free through July. Check with your Rational provider. This is not a
quote - so don't blame Claus if I got it wrong!!!
I think we need more details on that.
