Xuan,
the windows firewall blocked port 4003.
Our sysadmin added and entry port 4003 to the windows firewall and...
... callback on port 4300 successfull.
Thanks for put me in the right direction.
Susanne

Susanne,
For most of debug scenarios, you don't need the callback function unless
you want to use Debug as -> Interactive options.
Please also make sure the debug router has been started (you could use
STRDBGSVR command in iSeries if it has not been started yet) in your host,
and its default port 3825 is not blocked by firewall.
Thanks,

Hello *all,
a few weeks ago we installed WDSC V6 with all Updates (Fix 6.0.1.4) and
RSE editing works fine.
To start a debug session I checked the connection and found out, that
some
PTFs are missing.
Now, all PTFs are installed.
I later checked the connection and under Checking Host Callback it is
failing the error "callback to <I/P address> on port 4300 failed". That
is
followed by another message "callback to <pc name> on port 4300
failed".
4300 is enabled in the wdsci preferences and our iseries firewall had
no
error.
What am I missing?
TIA,
Susanne
