I hear you. Just as a point of information, IBM's VARPG allows you to
use whatever icons you like. Making icons is part of the fun! ;)

The thing I liked about it the most was that the IDE used the MSFT

company is trying to get rid of the AS/400/iSeries/etc., so I can't
program in it any more.
You should try it out! It isn't going away!!
