I'm sure you nailed the issue.

Yesterday I went the uninstall/reinstall route and had a similar experience
to yours.

I had rearranged my ''Start'|'All Programs'|'IBM..." entries into a single
folder.

When I go to update on my other machine, I'll know to put the IBM program
entries back to the original locations.

I wish I had been patient enough to wait for your reply....
