as long as the sentiment is the same..verbage is up to the person...person
A might pinpoint something person B didn't...but if the "bandwagon" never
starts we'll continually end up on the short end to the stick...

Bandwagons aren't necessarily a good idea.
Sort of like a preprinted postcard sent to your congressman.
They know it was printed by Organization X and sent to its members to
send to their congressman.
At that point you will get a "form letter response".

A consistent message is important, however.

But from what I heard a few weeks ago, moving Designer into the base
product is already a forgone conclusion.

Well Buck, I got my call this morning so there are three more people
out
there.

The one thing this guy did say was the more people that voice their
concerns, the more weight this will have.

So if anyone is interested that link is:

Maybe the squeaky wheel will get some grease. If the squeak is heard in
the right place!

subject: [WDSCI-L] WDSC Code designer - Sam is listening

As Jon recommended, I sent an email to Sam Palmisano about moving Code
Designer into WDSC Standard edition. Got a follow up call from a
gentleman who said that he is handling 5 of these, and that IBM have
created a formal complaint to track them!

I figured I'd get an automated 'thanks for your interest in IBM's
products' but I got a real phone call from a real person.

Sam is listening.
