For these tasks, right-clicking

I deleted my task and can't figure out how to get it back :-/ but itsounds like you're clicking in the task view. Go to the editor, not thelist of tasks. There's a thin grey bar on the left side of the linethat has the // TODO comment. Right click that and see if that doesn'tlet you remove the task.
