typically, I don't file any of the e-mails in this fourm. I use the archive search tool (midrange.com/archives). I usually "follow" each thread - meaning that I read the e-mails through out the day. I just takes a second or so to review it and delete it. Many I don't understand, but, I've found out that if I read even the ones that I don't understand, I usually wind up picking up something. Even if I don't learn anything new, at-lease, I'm exposed to new terms and ideas. I also get the MC Press on-line, but find that it's not as easy to respond to - as you have to go their web site to resond. With the mid-range forum - you can just respond using your e-mail cleint. Something along the line that is already running at MC Press Online? I, for one, get lost in all the various emails and responses and trying to ascertain what questions are being answered. Many of the subjects posted here are outside the scope of what our shop is doing, as a result I file the emails away (many times without reading them) and occasionally look at one to see if there is anything pertinent for our shop. PLEASE this is not a criticism of anyone at all, just a suggestion. Thanks Bill Barnes Sr Analyst/Programmer The Pantry, Inc 919-774-6700 ext 5211
