End of support for V5.2 is 30 April 2007, so I would assume WDSC would be
supported on v5.2 until that time--not much time, but some time nonetheless.
V5.2 will be withdrawn on 04 Jan 2008, so while there's still time to move to
v5.3 or v5.4, the window is closing. In fact, IBM may pull v5.3 support in Jan
2008 as well--although I haven't seen a formal announcement and don't expect to
until V5.5 is announced.
Also, don't confuse the terms "Works with" and "Supported on".
I believe you were told it does indeed work with V5.2, but tech support is not
provided for that release.

Violaine,
I don't understand why V5R2 is not supported. The OS release is not so
old that every shop out there has moved on, and WDSC is supposed to be the
replacement for PDM/SEU. As a REPLACEMENT tool, shouldn't it work with
all previous versions of the OS? And even if it can only go so far back,
certainly V5R2 is not so antiquated that it shouldn't be supported. Just
my $.02.

Btw, thanks for making such a nice tool for us. =)
