How about having the option of showing only fields that are used in the program in the Outline, instead of every field from every file and display in the program. Sometimes the list of fields grows so large that it can be difficult to locate the one particular field that you are looking for. Perhaps having two fields labels in the outline: Fields modified and Fields unmodified? Gene Burns On 3/16/07, albartell <albartell@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:
They already, somewhat, have this functionality (that works quite well I may add) when you open a source member and hit CTRL + 2 to open it for editing in a side by side type view. Add one character to the editor on the left, it immediately shows up on the right and vice versa - very cool. Would you want the copybook changes made while you were in one program to pop up in the other program source automatically? Should you only be able to edit the copybook only in the first source you opened and make some lines of a source editable and others not? Sounds like a good way to get real confused. I think I'd prefer a separate tab. I don't use this often, but it is there. Brings the copybook up in a separate window, though, not in the current source member's window. * Jerry C.
