Wow, I can not believe I never noticed that was possible!  All this time of
maximizing and minimizing my console view...

It would be nice however if you could have two screens full of source
views.  The split just gets frustrating.

I do something like this all the time ... I usually move the console
view over to a 3rd monitor so I can have my application running on one,
the debug view on my main display, and the log view off to the side.

If you want to put a view on another monitor, just click and drag view's
tab to the other monitor.

I don't know how much it will remember after you shut down ... but it
works fine for me.
