Looking for a C in column 6 isn't enough here - all new programs are in /free, and many older ones have been converted. I suppose looking for the first /free would work in that instance, though. Thanks for the idea! Something more to play with. It would be very nice to be able to click on 'Main Procedure' and have it go to the top of the calc specsIn Code, I'd write a ReXX macro that runs on startup to mark the first C line. You can find it in Lpex (All without quotes) with 'findText columns 6 6 c' Then, set a named mark. 'action nameMark' I call mine 'c'. During the editing session, you can go back there with: 'locate emphasis mark c' I'm pretty sure there's a way to bind the 'locate mark' action to a key sequence but I haven't researched it. Esc up arrow works well enough for me. I think the proper reference point is Reference, APIs, LPEX API documentation, Core API. Now all I need to do is work out how to create a local Java project :-) --buck
