Take this with a grain of salt in that I am not affiliated with IBM, so I 
don't have any insider information - just what I've gathered from the IBM 
documents and the comments of others on this list.

Not exactly.  PDM, SEU, and SDA are "dead" - this means that bugs will be 
fixed, and they will be kept up to date with any language changes.  No new 
features will be added.
The CoDE suite is "deprecated".  This means it will not be supported on 
any new Windows versions, and it may not even have existing bugs fixed.
 

#2. Since we have the compilers, we will continue to receive the 
5722WDS WDSCi toolset; standard edition.

Yes.
 

#3. The Screen Design component will not be added to the standard 

edition. 

This is certainly true for V7 of WDSC, but unknown for future versions. We 
can always hope that if we make enough noise to IBM they will change 
course on this.  The Screen Designer WDSC plugin is still a "technology 
preview" after all - this may just be their way of doing a limited beta 
test (though it seems a rather silly way).
