I just found that in RSE by right clicking on iSeries commands and
selecting servers, that if I shut all the servers down, and restart RSE,
it prompts me to, from the green screen, to STRHOSTSVR *ALL and STRTCPSVR
*DDM. After doing so then RSE comes up.

I was then able to enter my initials in the prefix area and did a save and
it actutally got saved to the iSeries. So I suspect it has something to do
with recycling these servers (but which one?).

And yes Aaron - I noticed that after doing the above that the ctrl-s did
take 'longer' than it was during my other attempts at diagnosing this bug.

However recycling the servers probably isn't a good solution as its not
practical on production boxes. Luckily I'm on a test box and the only one
who uses WDSCi (out of seven programmers).

Regards, Jerry
