Hey folks,

ok I've managed to squeeze some time in for this one (with the help of
another developer).
We've reproduced the problem, and I've opened APAR SE28246 to track the
problem.

thanks,

i can reproduce the error in so far that it doesn't show up the
right completion proposals but for %f it shows the default proposals
(the operation codes starting with ACQ).

in the second view if i start some op-code like open with ope and
call for code/content assist it return the completion proposal IF.
after some testing it always returns the completion proposal IF for
anything starting with a letter.

i think i'm at the same software release level:

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Code Assist doesn't work (right) in secondary view??

I've noticed that when I'm working in a secondary view, right-click
select 'View'-->'Open new View',
Code Assist doesn't work correctly.

When I first try it, it doesn't work at all.

If I go back over to the primary view and try using code assist, it
works fine. Then when I go back
into the secondary view, code assist at least comes up, but it
doesn't show what it should.

For example, typing if %fo then hitting Ctrl-space brings up the
code assist window showing
%found(filename) and %found in the primary view; but doing the same
thing in the secondary view brings
up something else. The something else seems to have usually been
the entire op-code list, but just
now when I tried it I got some funky list of DDS keywords, another
time it was some info about
p-specs.

Interestingly,
When I type if %fo in the secondary view and try code assist, I get
the wrong results.
Going over the the partitial completed line in the primary view and
trying code assist works
correctly. If I hit escape to cancel the code assist in the
primary, and go back to the partially
completed line in the secondary. Code assist will work, just for
that particular partially completed
line.

Anybody else seen this?

I believe I'm up to date on fixes:
