Hello:

I've not seen any details about future REXX macro support in WDSc which
leads me to believe there will never be any.

Here is the issue that is holding me back:

The IBM supplied CODE/400 macro FIELDS.LX uses the CODESRV function.

Is there a similar function in WDSc?

What I've done is created a macro that extracts field data from a file on
the server (exactly like FIELDS.LX does) and outputs to a work file on the
PC. I've got a number of additional macros that read the PC work file and
then insert code to work document referencing the field data from the PC
work file. It saves me huge amounts of time.

I'm looking for ideas on the best way to duplicate this functionality in
WDSc.

Another issue... I'm having trouble getting my arms around Java which makes
extending the JPEX editor difficult for me.

Thanks,

John
