Violaine, I made some changes and deleted all my EVFEVENT files and changed my RSE connection setting to have my current library to be specifically my user profile. I then ran a search (the first function to use the EVFEVENT file). The EVFEVENT is created with a MAXMBRS(1). If I compile first then the MAXMBRS() is set to *NOMAX. If the EVFEVENT file is created from the search request then all subsequent compiles will fail. I do not believe the MAXMBRS() item is related to changing the current library value on the RSE connection. Thanks, Matt "The FNDSTRPDM command (which the WDSC search function uses) automatically generates the events file in *CURLIB/EVFEVENT member EVFEVENT So if multiple users have the same *CURLIB, then it is possible that conflicts may occur. I have opened a requirement to see if we can get the FNDSTRPDM command changed to allow specifying the target events file. thanks, Violaine Batthish WebSphere Development Studio Client, IBM Toronto Lab"
