You can check this as follows:
        Right-click 'iSeries Objects' under your connection
        Then 'Verify Connection'

It should look something like this:

Hi,

I'm having problems setting a service entry point, can anyone help? I'm
getting a message 'CPF0001 Error found on STRSRVJOB command'. Any ideas?
