I think it just needs you local java.exe to run. I used C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06\bin\java.exe for my installs and have been fine. We just do Cobol so maybe this won't work if you are using WDSC for other languages. In the C:\Program Files\Java there could be multiple jre folders to pick from depending on what version of java you are on and how many times you have updated java.
