There was an ITJungle tip on how to add *EVENTF to IBM commands that don't have that support. I wasn't able to get it working though. http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l/200611/msg00167.html Phil "albartell" <albartell@gmail. com> To Sent by: "'Websphere Development Studio wdsci-l-bounces@m Client for iSeries'" idrange.com <wdsci-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> cc 02/14/2007 02:38 Subject PM [WDSCI-L] CRTBNDRPG: When binding errors happen Please respond to Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries <wdsci-l@midrange .com> One thing that consistently keeps me going back to the green screen is when I compile a program in WDSC and get this result back: "RNS9301: Program PGM1 in library MYLIB not created. ". That is the ONLY message I get back in the iSeries Error List. I then do a WRKSPLF in a 5250 session and determine the following: "Errors were found during the binding step." To figure out what didn't bind correctly I then need to compile from the green screen so I can get a spool file created showing the binding issue - WDSC doesn't create the job log spoolfile dump like compiling from the command line/PDM. I am guessing others have this annoyance and ask for alternatives to going 5250 for problem determination. Anybody?
